The artist was selected for an artistic residence in the month of October to produce new pieces that would be shown in the collective exhibition that would culminate in December in an open studio with the artists:

In the Viafarini Archive at the Fabbrica del Vapore: Giacomo Colosi, Juan Florencianez, Camilla Gurgone, Alessandro Laita and Chiaralice Rizzi, Paolo Patelli with Freja Kir, Daniel Romano, Sebastian Roque.
Viafarini was born in 1991 as a cultural association on the model of American non-profit organizations and European Kunstverein, when this concept was new for Italy. Among the most innovative ideas, the exhibition space as a project room, the development of relations with foreign countries and an activity management based on collaboration between public and private entities. The first two events realized, Projected images and Viafarini Membership, coincide respectively with the foundation of the Archive and with the adoption of a membership program.
Viafarini launches an exhibition space, conceived as a “project room” and dedicated to promoting the emerging scene in Italy, as well as offering a window onto the international art scene… β

Break Fiction is a work that starts from the traditional concept of the classical aesthetics of painting where I want to give a radical turn to this style, therefore in this work I am wanting to reconsider with some of its parameters, which converge in mismatching the color, the support and its natural shape (here comes the concept of glitched).
