My perceptual field is full of reflections
Acrylic, graphite and silver leaf on prepared cardboard 100 x 70 cm, 2023
Positioned in the center, a tree stands out, the protagonist element, of a piece of my authorship titled Residual image of my self, a self-portrait from 2021. The work develops an approach to this anthropocentric sense that emphasizes the gaze and the field perceptive of being. It compiles, like an atlas, how my Self/being is located within the field of the real and how it dialogues and internalizes with the other things that exist (things selected in the present real space and self-citations), however, only reflections of it appear. The representation is ultimately self-induced.
