S/T
Graphite on prepared paper, 150 x 140 cm. 2018-2019
S/T is volume II of the work Anonymous Portraits proposes to highlight the significance that exists between the relationships of the body, object and space; analyzing for this around one hundred and twenty specific ice cream sticks (taken randomly from different sectors) and building a dialogue that these establish between the existential and what exists.
What is sought from this work is to “immortalize” the object, taking as the main approach the different possibilities and facts of contact that are generated from the relationship between the object, taking it as an entity that links the being (body) with the space (environment), although not from an illusory perspective that simply seeks a merely visual representation, but rather trying to pose it from aspects such as its own mortality and physical presence that forces us to be aware of ours, in relation to the body in the space.
