On October 19th 2023 the artist Francesca Palma inaugurated an individual show in the N.A.S.A.L (gallery) of Mauricio Aguirre under the curatorship of Giada Lusardi (Parma, 1984). The pictorial show will remain open until December 16th where it will also be the official closure of the gallery and the third anniversary of the proyect in Guayaquil.

Palma lived most of his life in Italy and saw in his diary these cultural images on his journeys through the city. The famous motifs are marked by his lives across continents, across cultures and across countries, and his works arise from a profound introspective work, like that which the migrant realizes, who, in contact with another, returns to the existential question: Who am i?

In artistic production, the languages and languages are understood as herramientas of understanding and communication. The painted image of an angel in a high relief expresses a sense of ambiguity, in this case of gender, which allows the viewer to be surrounded. The artist seeks the same effect at the time of titling her works in English, as an example in My perceptual field is full of reflections (2023) or The languages changes depending on strange conditions (2023)...
